Solo She Leads…


Stuck in the race of life,

She got even braver with every passing day;

Holding down the memories that all lay in the hay.

Remembering them ever for they could stay,

Alas!Unlike the trees that used to sway,

She could never hold them again,

For she could never pass that lane.

A life away from home wasn’t easy,

Living alone made her even more freezy.

Then one fine day, when she put her thoughts to slay,

Her actions did speak; she was no more a meek.

With a sparkle in her eyes,

She shut all her grievous cries –

For, now, it was a battle of her pride.

Solo, she stood, across all the woods;

Those woods were the difficulties which were now mere minorities.

Thus, solo she leads, with heights achieved…
